Remesh, Inc. announced today that it has initiated litigation against Kantar Group Limited, a UK-based market research company, and its subsidiaries Kantar LLC and Kantar China (collectively, Kantar) for misappropriating Remesh's trade secrets, breach of contract, copyright infringement, and related claims.

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Remesh, Inc. announced today that it has initiated litigation against Kantar Group Limited, a UK-based market research company, and its subsidiaries Kantar LLC and Kantar China (collectively, Kantar) for misappropriating Remesh's trade secrets, breach of contract, copyright infringement, and related claims.

Remesh is a technology company that provides a market-leading AI-powered insights platform for harnessing the collective intelligence of survey participants and market research. The dispute between Remesh and Kantar arises from a customer relationship that began over nine years ago. During this relationship, Remesh shared confidential access to its software platform with Kantar. The lawsuit alleges that Kantar released an unauthorized copycat product in June 2025.

The lawsuit, filed on September 16 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that Kantar violated multiple agreements with Remesh by reverse engineering and copying Remesh's software and user interface to develop the Kantar Live, Kantar ART, and Kantar ART AI platforms. The complaint also alleges that Kantar incorporated Remesh's proprietary software into at least one U.S. patent application. Further, the complaint alleges that Kantar's actions were unauthorized by Remesh, violate federal intellectual property laws, and are in breach of Kantar's contractual obligations to Remesh.
