REGINA, SK, Dec. 15, 2025 /CNW/ - Regina Fire & Protective Services members are assisting The Salvation Army this week at the Costco kettle to help the organization reach its $275,000 goal. With just nine days to go in the annual fundraising campaign, the city is more $130,000 short of their objective. Chief Layne Jackson will be joining Major Al Hoeft on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 at Costco to ring the bells and support the kettle campaign.
The Salvation Army desperately needs more volunteers to operate kettles at various locations throughout Regina. Donations can only be received at kettles staffed by a volunteer. If you can help by doing a two-hour shift in one of our numerous locations throughout the city this will make a huge difference in collecting donations! Please reach out to 306-527-7950 in order to sign up to volunteer.
Media interview opportunities will be available from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with Fire Chief Layne Jackson and Major Al Hoeft:
